Mimosa Rocks

Several years ago  I was lucky enough to caretake a property in Mimosa Rocks National Park on the Far South Coast of NSW .It has to be one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Australia with a rich diversity of native  flora and fauna . I would wake up to the sound of kookaburras and bellbirds and often have six foot goannas roaming through my home . It was like living in a permanent National Geographic documentary as every day would reveal another treasure of our unique natural environment.I still make regular camping trips to the area and always marvel at the beauty and diversity of it’s environment and relieved by the knowledge that areas like this will remain protected as National Parks.
